Welcome to my website—a space where I share thoughts on technology, software, architecture, and other topics that spark my curiosity. I also reflect on experiences and ideas I believe help sustain and enrich our shared humanity. I’m a Toronto-based polymath with a passion for learning and building. If you’re interested in my professional background, feel free to explore my LinkedIn profile.
I have a wide range of interests, which includes relationships, career, human interactions, martial arts, chess and technology. I’m an advocate for behavioural excellence, which ties directly into humanity. I value original work and thoughts and like to build cool things with technology.
I’m a seasoned software engineer and solutions architect with over 20 years of experience in the private sector, delivering innovative solutions across FinTech, Commerce, EdTech, and MedTech. I’ve successfully led and contributed to projects for well-known organizations including IBM, Albertsons, Loblaw, and the Canadian Parliament, as well as numerous startups and mid-sized companies.
Notably, I’ve collaborated with the Mayo Clinic to develop AI models for detecting anomalies in critical organs. Additional highlights include work with Canadian Tire and the City of Toronto.
My core expertise lies in back-end development, cloud computing (primarily AWS, with ongoing Azure certification), and application architecture. I work fluently across modern, mature, and legacy technologies on both the back-end and front-end. I hold a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Computer Science, with specializations in Network Security and Artificial Intelligence.
